Today we're going to review part number VX-DH4. These are the Vision X H4 Halogen headlight bulbs. These are in premium white color, and they come as a quantity of two. As you can see we ship them to you in this nice, hard plastic container that protects the bulbs from any damage. Once you get them you can just pop them open. One thing I do want to mention when you do open these and go to install them, when you handle bulbs you do want to handle them by the metal base. You don't want to touch the glass portion with your hands.
The reason that is you'll have oil residue on your hands, and when you touch the glass that oil will stay on that glass. Then when you install these and turn them on it's such a high temperature bulb that with that oil on the bulb it could cause it to crack or shatter. When you handle the bulb you always want to handle it just at the base. Now, these are halogen bulbs which will replace your vehicle's factory headlight bulbs, gives you improved brightness, increase visibility. The color on this is a premium white light which will shine up to 40% and up to about 35% further than the factory bulbs. It also reflects better off of the road signs and the markers along the highway. This bulb has a high color temperature which improves visibility, promotes driver awareness, also increases the depth perception and reduces eye strain and fatigue. It is a durable, long-lasting construction, has a 250-hour lifespan.
It is a fast and easy installation. You can see right here the plug at the bottom. You just plug this into your vehicle's existing headlamp sockets. Now, these bulbs are Department of Transportation compliant. Specs on it, this part number is in quantity of two bulbs. The bulb type again is H4.
The wattage on them, they're a dual filament so the low beam is 55 watts at 12 volts, the high beam is 60 watts at 12 volts. The brightness is 900 Lumens. The color temperature on this is 4300 Kelvin, and these bulbs do have a lifetime warranty. Upgrading my headlights was one of the best additions to my truck. I drive through Kansas where there are no lights. Now I do not overdrive my headlights. I have plenty of light on the road.

etrailer delivered the package before time indicated. there was no damage and the bulbs worked. They were installed in a 2011 BMW R1200 GSA motorcycle. I have yet to take it for a spin at night but they should be better than stock bulbs and they have a lifetime warranty

These lamps were pretty easy to install, are definitely brighter than the factory originals. They have been on my F150 for a year now and are still working great. If you want a brighter head light I would recommend these.

As for the bulbs itself I was disappointed how dimm it was. Reminded me of a 25W or 40 Watt lightbulb. Don't be fooled by the blue coating. Not the companies fault but still disappointing.

Great product, nice and brite, easy to install and switch out. Doesn't meet VA VDOT approval for inspections so I change them out every year for state inspection, about that time again. So save ou OEM bulbs if you need them. Thanks

view full answer... - Upgrading to Brighter Headlights on a 1985 Jeep CJ-7There isn't a wiring harness for the H6024 head lights used on the 1985 Jeep CJ-7. But what you can do is use Vision X Headlight Conversion Kit # VX-7RD with Vision X H4 Halogen Headlight Bulbs # VX-DH4 to get up to 60 percent more light output than the stock lights. Even if you just went with the bulbs and kept the stock assemblies (if just the bulbs can be changed on your assemblies) they will produce more light output that the stock lights.
